Dr. Farshad Farnejad, MD, MPH, FACS, is a fellowship-trained, dual-board-certified general and critical care surgeon dedicated to bringing world-class surgical expertise and compassionate care to the Charlotte metro area.

Raised in Virginia, Dr. Farnejad completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Virginia Tech before earning a Master of Public Health in public health from Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He then completed a rigorous general surgery residency at the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, followed by an elite fellowship in surgical critical care at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Today, Dr. Farnejad combines this high-level academic training with a deeply personal commitment to his patients, ensuring they feel safe, heard, and meticulously cared for at every stage of their surgical journey.
